THE DIRTY YACK – PART OF THIS IS GRAVEL
G50 Gravel Series
So you got your new gravel bike and want to do get out and experience some new riding areas with your friends and the challenge of an event is appealing but the idea of 100kms scares the lycra off you. Well maybe this could be for you.
The G50 Gravel series will take you on some gravel adventures that you may not have otherwise done whilst setting courses that are achievable. Sure there will be climbing but course designs will choose good quality roads and attempt not to get you too far outside of that comfort zone. And if you are looking for more challenge, well you can just try to finish it faster. We know that across the line you will be rather happy with the day out you just had.
Our 50km (roughly) only events mean more social start times, nicer weather and done in time for a lunch and well-deserved recovery beverage.
Each event will see the same fun friendly atmosphere that has been enjoyed in the sister series – Shifty Fifty.
The courses can be ridden on Gravel or CX bikes as well as mountain bikes. We do not recommend road bikes even with wider tyres but if you carry enough patch repair kits then maybe you could give it a try.
So why not commit now and get yourself ready for the challenge.
Wondering which weapon to use at the G50 – The Dirty Yack? We’ve got you covered.
